Fujifilm has launched the Jet Press 750S high-speed B2 sheetfed inkjet press for commercial and folding carton package printing applications. The printer can print at the speed of 5,400 B2 sheets per hour and is available from Autumn 2021.
High image quality outperforming that of offset printing
Utilizing Samba printheads and aqueous pigment Vividia ink, the Jet Press 750S high-speed model can produce a high-quality print that the company claims is equal to or even better than offset.
High-speed output of 5,400 sheets per hour
The new model is claimed to offer the highest productivity available for a sheet-fed inkjet press, 1.5 times faster than that of the current Jet Press 750S.
According to the type of job being run, high-quality mode (3,600sph) and high-performance mode (5,400sph) can be switched for maximum flexibility.
Improved total cost of ownership
The high-speed model makes it possible to transfer a wider range of offset jobs to digital which, according to the company statement, can reduce the total cost of ownership.
On-site upgrade is available for new and current Jet Press 750S owners.
The Jet Press 750S high-speed model is scheduled to be available in Autumn 2021.
