Czech Republic based manufacturer of waterless offset plate technologies Toray Graphics has announced that Mitsunori Hayashi will be returning to Japan to manage the company’s Waterless business in the Asian and Oceanian markets as well as global waterless projects. Kaoru Ueda and Junichi Ishii will take on new leadership roles for Toray EMEA and the Americas.

Hayashi has led Toray Graphics in the EMEA region and the Americas from the company’s Czech Republic location. He will lead the Graphics Division in EMEA and the Americas for eight years and help the company’s waterless business to grow in those regions and to continue the company’s efforts to educate the market on the value of waterless offset printing.

With Hayashi’s departure, the Toray Graphics Division in EMEA and the Americas has announced a new management structure.

Kaoru Ueda who was previously associate director at TTCE in the Czech Republic has taken on the position of director for the Toray Graphics Division at Toray Textiles Central Europe in the Czech Republic.

Junichi lshii who previously worked with Torelief – Photopolymer Printing plate and as a sales manager at Toray headquarters in Japan has returned to the Czech Republic in March 2021 to take on the position of associate director. lshii will be responsible for the Toray Graphics Division Sales and Marketing Department at Toray Textiles Central Europe.

Hayashi said: ‘While I am looking forward to the challenges of my new position at Toray headquarters in Japan, I will miss working closely with my colleagues and customers, with whom I have had an open, constructive and trustworthy relationship during my tenure in the Czech Republic.

‘It has been my great pleasure to be associated with the successful and dynamic team there and to get to know personally so many Toray customers. My only regret is the inability to thank many of them face to face prior to my departure due to the constraints of the pandemic, but I know that the waterless offset community, including both staff and customers, will continue to work tirelessly to promote the value of waterless offset printing to the industry. Both Ueda and Ishii are well qualified to lead this ongoing effort, and I wish them the best for an exciting and profitable future.’
